
It was safe to say that the children didn’t go home disappointed. Dan gave them a talk about reading, writing, football and the amazing work that Portsmouth do in the community.
As well as all of that, the 1500 kids were all given a copy of the Jamie Johnson prequel “Born to Play” – but it was all ‘Pompey-ed’ up, including the club crest, colours and imagery!

The children also sat where the Portsmouth substitutes sit during games, visited the Home Dressing Room, met the club mascot and collected autographs.
